questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED

How long should my hair be for a Brazilian/Bikini Wax?

If you have shaved, it needs to be grown out at least 3 weeks from your last shave in order to wax. If it’s shorter, we risk not all of your hair coming out, extra irritation/redness and breakage. If your hair is super long, just let it be! No need to trim, as you can make it too short in some areas.

What should I do before my wax?

Try to exfoliate 3-4 times per week leading up to your wax. When you come in, we will go over specific instructions based on your skin type and customize a skincare routine to you.

Can I still get waxed during my cycle?

Yes! You absolutely can, you just need to have a tampon or a menstrual cup in and we will be good to go. If you don’t feel comfortable with this please make sure to cancel 24 hours ahead of your appointment time as the late cancellation fee still applies.

how early should i arrive for my appointment?

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to settle in and ensure a smooth check-in process. This allows time to complete any necessary forms, use the restroom, and relax before your service begins. Arriving on time ensures you receive the full experience without feeling rushed. If you're a first-time client, a little extra time is always a good idea!

What should I avoid after my wax?

For the next 24-48 hours you will want to avoid: sweating, touching the skin, intimacy, tanning, exercising and exfoliating. These things can lead to further irritated skin, folliculitis, and bacteria in the pores.

How often should I be waxing?

For body services, every 4-5 weeks. For facial services and underarms, every 2-3 weeks!
